Rejected But Not Discourage

They regarded each other with mutual avarice.  The Samaritans of this town regarded Jesus as the would any Jew of the Southern tribes. Jesus was not disturbed by their rejection. When he was advised to punish the Samaritans for their insults, Jesus rejected their vindictiveness and turned the other cheek. Resisting retribution, Jesus just went to the next town.
