Implicit Denial

And yet, with all our massive resources, there are those who live marginalized lives in inescapable social and economic poverty, lacking the resources to survive. We, who live in comfort, ignore the discomfort of our neighbors.  Our collective wealth makes us blind. Our unwillingness to see our implicit culpability denies Christ.  We are indeed hypocrites who profess to believe the Scriptures but will not govern ourselves by them. Pray Pray and discover the log in your eye.  Pray and discover your culpability in the suffering of others. Pray and recognize how your tacit behaviors betray your faith. Forward to a friend
