An Unresponsive Ear

Confident Hope Faith and Salvation Live in the light of God (Isaiah 2:5)    Salvation for All Who Believe Romans 10:18-21 New International Version 18 But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course, they did: “Their voice has gone out into all the earth,     their words to the ends of the world.”[a] 19 Again, I ask: Did Israel not understand? First, Moses says, “I will make you envious by those who are not a nation;     I will make you angry by a nation that has no understanding.”[b] 20 And Isaiah boldly says, “I was found by those who did not seek me;     I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me.”[c] 21 But concerning Israel, he says, “All day long, I have held out my hands     to a disobedient and obstinate people.”[d]   For Reflection Not all who hear will respond in trust. Jesus' family thought he might be crazy! The Gospel is a frighteningly risky proposition to many who trust in the status quo. We are, after all, obstinate people who, if we follow Christ, live a paradoxical life, a life that does not conform to most cultural expectations.  Following the counter-intuitive way of Christ will result in peace and joy envied by some and denied by others.  Pray Pray and find the wisdom to transform your life into a peaceful and joyful experience in service to God. Pray and understand that your path to salvation in Christ is not the only path. Pray and find comfort in the revelation of others who did not seek a life in Christ but instead were deniers like Paul yet chosen by God. Forward to a friend
