Confident Hope Faith and Salvation Live in the light of God (Isaiah 2:5)    Salvation for All Who Believe Joel 2:28-32 The Message The Sun Turning Black and the Moon Blood-Red 28-32 “And that’s just the beginning: After that— “I will pour out my Spirit     on every kind of people: Your sons will prophesy,     also, your daughters. Your old men will dream; your young men will see visions. I’ll even pour out my Spirit on the servants,     men and women both. I’ll set wonders in the sky above     and signs on the earth below: Blood and fire and billowing smoke,     the sun turning black and the moon blood-red, Before the Judgment Day of God,     the Day, tremendous and awesome. Whoever calls, ‘Help, God!’     gets help. On Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, there will be a great rescue—just as God said. Included in the survivors     are those that God calls.” For Reflection On the day of Pentecost, God's plan to turn the world upside down began. Following the Way of Jesus Christ, the opportunity for repentance and restoration was given to all people. Through the Holy Spirit, whoever asks for help will receive it without regard to religious affiliation, race, gender, or nationality. The transformation from sinner to saint begins with repentance and continues by the grace of God. Pray Pray and repent. Pray and focus on listening to the counsel of the Holy Spirit which resides in you. Pray and realize that your salvation and the world's salvation rests on the witness of the redeemed.
