God's Exceptional Choice We are God's Artwork We Are God's Handiwork Live in the light of God (Isaiah 2:5) Micah 6:6-8 Revised Standard VersionWhat God Requires6 "With what shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before God on high? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? 7 Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand of rivers of oil? Shall I give my first-born for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?" 8 He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness,[a] and to walk humbly with your God? For Reflection
Why is it sometimes so hard to be obedient to God? God doesn't ask for much. Instead, God wants God's children to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly. I know this will set you at odds with some folks. But following God's advice will never harm your relationship with God, and, inevitability, others will accept these qualities. PrayPray for the courage to do the simplest tasks in justice, kindness, and humility.
